I wish you had won the election. We need a man with military experience to keep our people safe and confident that another 911 or worse will NOT occur. I am a product of the navy- my father was a retired officer and my brother served in Desert storm I am very proud of both of them as well as of you for standing up to the american people's ignorance on issues of war and homeland security. God Bless all of our brother and sisters in Afghanistan and Iraq and others stationed at the ready around the world to take out terrorism and violence against the human race. We are all one and need to co-exist in this omni-present age of dangerous times. I was and still am a supporter of the Bush Administration I feel that having his father as his predecesor was a learning experience to walking into that position as Commander in Chief and George W. did a great job. I can appreciate the true patriot and humanitarian he is. You are also a great man with alot of power I was praying all through out the election that you would be my president and I would have been proud to stand behind you in that endeavor. Thank you lets hope for a fast 4 years and get our country back on track. Clinton left a big mess for both administrations and there were many hurdles to climb so if thinking that bringing aboard an inexperienced (not to say uneducated because I think Mr. Obama is a very smart man and I am sure he's a nice guy and has a lovely family) individual to keep us sleeping safely at night is the right thing to do then I have to disagree, I think he will be taken advantage of and people will see him as inexperienced around the globe. Good luck and thanks for running I really mean that. I wish you were our new President Elect. What a shame. Our country is in for a reckoning. Best of everything, you are a real patriot and would have served our country well.

Mr. President, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the wonderful job you have done with our country!! Thank you, President Bush, for your promise never to let such an attack happen on American soil again. Thank you for so successfully keeping that promise. Thank you for your vigilance in keeping me and my family safe from Islamic terrorists in our own nation. I know that seven years ago, virtually no one expected you could do this. But you have. No matter what else you may have done right or wrong, no matter what criticism anyone may have for you, you have achieved what no one expected. You have kept us safe. Thank you sir!!! Reba

Dear Senator McCain, I am a democrat who supported Sen. Obama this year. However, I must thank you for your sacrifice to our country, and your hard work throughout the years. I think this country needs a new direction, so I did not vote for you, but I feel you deserve lots of credit anyway.

John McCain, I just woke up from a chilling nightmare. I actually woke up shaking. I dreamed I was the White House Chief of Staff and Sarah Palin reported to me. She was a loose cannon, not following the mission to heal the nation and stressing the ____ out of me! It was one of the most frightening experiences I has ever had. Shame on you for what you are trying to do our country!

Sen. McCain, you posed a question about who those mysterious, sinister people are who have donated to Barack Obama's campaign. Well, I am one of them. From my meager Social Security pension, I contributed a whole ten dollars! I wish it could have been $10,000, but that's about what I get for a whole year. Being in a prison in Nam didn't really acquaint you with what it's like to be poor in America, so how could you possibly be empathetic with us peons? Unlike you, most of us haven't had an opportunity to feather our nest -- or should I say "nests"? -- by marrying into money. That's as good as inheriting it! Even better, considerig the fringe benefits. As a former resident of Tucson, I had the privilege many years ago of seeing Barry Goldwater and that grand old man of REAL Socialism, Norman Thomas, debate at the U of A (my alma mater). Goldwater went on and on about how degrading welfare is because it isn't earned by hard work. In rebuttal, Thomas said adroitly, "I've never noticed that inherited money is degrading." Goldwater had the sensitivity to turn beet red. You, sir, have no such sensitivity. You wear your meanness of spirit and arrogant snobbery on your lapel next to your flag pin. All the cozying up to the "Joe-the-plumbers" in the world isn't going to change that, and he, by the way, is so patent a fake that, like Palin, he should be a source of inexpressible embarrassment to you. I hope this election signals the end of your (and Palin's) political careers.

Dear Senator Mcain, The main and best criticism of you is that you’ve transformed in the campaign. What happened to the John McCain who opposed both parties when they dissagreed with you? What happened to the John McCain who was honest and didn’t take cheap shots? He went away in the hunt for power. That’s not even mentioning Sarah Palin, who just a puppet who’s in there for looks, her gender and PANDERING! I hope you go back to senator McCain if you’re elected.
